Cheruthen (Stingless Bee Honey)

Cheruthen honey is honey made by stingless bees where as regular honey is made by honey bees with sting. As stingless bees are Comparatively much smaller in size they can extract nectar from small flowers which honey bees find difficult to reach. Honey from these small wildflowers and those growing inside rock crevices in the dark are believed to be of higher medicinal value thus cheruthen is highly revered in ayurveda. 

It does but it still has a sweeter taste which makes it suitable to use in day-to-day life and not just for medicinal purposes. 

Our Cheruthen honey is harvested by villagers living inside the Idukki Forest Reserve, Kerala, India. 

Cheruthen can be stored normally in any glass bottle in normal temperature. It is very important to avoid its contact with moisture.
